  • Description: The film documents the ascent of the Dente del Gigante (mountain in the Mont Blanc massif). The great ability of Mario Piacenza (April 1884 - Biella, April 16, 1957), together with the particular mountain shape, generate a highly spectacular shooting. The video is a copy from the film print restored copy by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema collaboration with the Fondazione Piacenza and the Museo della Montagna of Turin in 2013: 35mm, polyester, positive, black and white, 220 m, 11' aprox. to 18 fps, without intertitles, silent.
